COMMUNITY EMERGENCY PLAN

We are currently working on the Ladd Hill Neighborhood Association (LHNA) Disaster Plan and will update this website as well as provide additional training once the plan is ready to be released and activated.

In the meantime, please…..image002

1)  Complete the Resident Questionnaire.
Without this information we do not know who lives in our area of coverage and what resources we have to draw from in the event of a disaster.  The form is available to complete and submit on-line by clicking on the Resident Questionnaire tab on this website.

2)  Review the Home Preparedness Checklist and complete the various forms and create the Emergency Kits as shown in this section.  Involve all your household members.  On this website you will find a lot of information, supply lists, and resources to help you build your plan.

3)  Get Trained!
Attend a Ladd Hill Neighborhood Association (LHNA) training class, CPR/First Aid class, become a CERT Member, (Community Emergency Response Team), be trained in Search and Rescue, or become a HAM radio operator.  There are lots of classes available to provide you with emergency skills that are of interest to you.  Check the Training section of this website for a list of various training classes.

4)  Connect with your Neighbors.
Get together with your closest neighbors, share contacts and discuss our Ladd Hill Neighborhood Association Association (LHNA) Emergency Plan.  Make it clear to each of them that as a group of volunteer neighbors, we cannot stockpile or provide sufficient food & water (for people & animals) in the event of an extended disaster.  It is up to each household to have their own provisions.  Help to reach-out across our neighborhood and spread the word.
